Metropolis Lofts

The Washtenaw building is an adaptive reuse of a concrete warehouse building.

Metropolis Lofts

Metropolis lofts consist of two buildings, connected by a walkway over the public alley:  the Washtenaw building consists of 63 units and is an adaptive reuse of a concrete warehouse building. The Fairfield building consists of 52 units and is an adaptive reuse of timber loft warehouse building.  The project was very well received as it offered buyers two types of aesthetics.  The concrete lofts feeling more modern and the timber lofts more traditional.  The project is located 4 blocks south of the CTA Blue Line Station in California.
